Freesbe

Customer inbox

Every customer gets a thread. The whole team can answer.

The Freesbe customer inbox brings the people who write to your company into a channel: a chat on your website, your support email address, texts to your Freesbe numbers and your WhatsApp Business number. Each customer gets a thread with hand-off, internal notes the customer never sees, saved replies and an AI-drafted reply you check before sending.

A chat on your website

Add a web chat in workspace settings, pick the channel it posts to, set the title, greeting and colour, and paste one line before the end of your pages. Visitors write, your team answers from Freesbe, and the chat remembers the visitor so they can come back to the same conversation. Limit it to your own sites, and ask for a name and email first or let people write straight away.

Keep the address customers already know

Forward support@northwind.example to the address Freesbe gives the inbox. Each email from a new sender starts a conversation with the subject on the card, later emails from the same person land in the same thread, and replies go out as replies in the same email thread from Sam at Northwind Traders. Quoted earlier emails and signatures are left out.

Texts and WhatsApp too

Put one of your Freesbe phone numbers in the inbox and texts to it land in a channel, one thread per customer, with replies texted back and marked Sent, Delivered or Failed. Connect your WhatsApp Business number and WhatsApp messages arrive the same way, with replies going back on WhatsApp. Both start in test mode so you can try the flow before anything goes out.

Take it, hand it off, close it

A card in the channel says who wrote, where and who's on it. Take it to make it yours or hand it to anyone in the channel; Freesbe notes each change in the thread. Reply to the customer, or write an internal note that stays between the team. Close it when you're done; if they write again, a new conversation starts.

  • The Inbox page lists every open conversation, yours, unassigned and waiting on a reply
  • Saved replies for shipping times, opening hours and how returns work
  • Suggest a reply drafts an answer with AI from the conversation and your saved replies

Questions

What do visitors see?
A round button in the corner of your site that opens the chat with your title and greeting. They see your team's answers with the first name of whoever wrote them, and never your channel, internal notes or anyone's email address.
Does the AI send anything by itself?
No. Suggest a reply puts a draft in your box, written from the conversation and your saved replies, for you to read and change. Nothing is sent until you send it.
How many inboxes can we have?
Up to 20 of every kind together, for example one web chat per website or brand. Each number can be in one texting inbox and one WhatsApp inbox.
Who can answer?
Everyone in the channel an inbox posts to. Conversations can only be answered by people, not by apps or API tokens. Only owners and admins can add an inbox.
